Is your New Year's resolution to eat healthy? We can help. Since we make most of our food from scratch, we know what goes in our dishes. I've been following the Whole30 plan which is grain free, soy free, dairy free, and sugar free. You may think, what can you eat with these restricitions. Well quite a lot. Our steaks, hamburgers, corned beef, grilled chicken, pot roast, chili, and eggs all follow this. Just make sure to ask for no toast/bread, no cheese, and no gravy. We can wrap any sandwich or burger in lettuce as well.

Our Mexican food is made with marinated meat, but we have unmarinated chicken which is used for our grilled chicken salads. Ask them to use the unmarinated chicken. Now, beans and rice do not comply with the Whole30, but you can substitute with a green salad (with vinegar and oil) and veggies (after 4pm). Or just order the Tostade Bites appetizer, it comes with just the tostadas, but you can ask for lettuce instead of tortillas.

Load up on the veggies. You can add grilled onions, green peppers, and mushrooms to anything as well as tomatoes and avocado. How about a burger with avocado, grilled onions, and mushrooms. Just watch the condiments. Mustard, salsa, and hot sauce are the only ones that work with the plan. Ketchup has too much sugar and surprisingly so does mayo.

What sides: For breakfast, fruit, country potatoes, or hash browns, just skip the toast. For lunch, the green salad with vinegar and oil or ask for country potatoes. Or upgrade your side to a cup of chili, hold the cheese. For dinner, skip the bread, select the green salad with vinegar and oil and veggies.

Dining out doesn't have to mean eating unhealthy.

What's Sizzling at Jerry's? Our new menu!

Seasoned beef or marinated chicken fajitas, taqueria style tacos, Baja fish tacos, pulled pork dinners are just some of the new items featured on our new menu. We have also add more to our weekend and holiday menu: Banana nut pancakes, french toast, or waffle, and blueberry or chocolate chip pancakes. Don't forget about our special board. Everyday features a different discount such as 50% off burgers and melts on Mondays. Check out our coupons for a complete list of daily specials.

Jerry's opened in 1972 as part of a chain of restaurants in California, Nevada, and Arizona.  In 2007, this location was closed and reopened as Jerry's of Hollister, a locally owned and operated restaurant.

Our menu features the all American classic comfort foods such as chicken fried steak, meatloaf, pot roast, burgers, and shakes.  Our shakes are a local favorite made the old fashion way with vanilla or chocolate ice cream.  The same ice cream used in our banana splits and sundaes.  Our pies are made fresh daily.  Our burgers are handformed 100% beef patties.  Our classic burgers are 1/3 pound, but for those really hungry, we offer a 12oz colossal burger.

Breakfast is our cornerstone.  It is served all day.  Another favorite is our Cowboy Special:  two split biscuits topped with sausage patties, scrambled eggs, and our housemade country gravy.  We also make our own corned beef used for both our reuben sandwich and our corned beef hash.  We have pancakes, waffles, french toast, and even french toast made out of our cinnamon rolls!

Our dinner menu consists of the classics such as fried chicken, ribeye steak, and penne pasta.  We also have locally inspired entrees such as enchiladas and machaca.  And of course all of our sandwiches, burgers, and eggs are available, too!
